Spreadsheet Design System Excels

La Oficina de Parque’s entire identity system has been built using the grid and default typeface of Excel.

The result is a whimsical yet highly modular design language. With angular illustrations inspired by park elements and a natural color palette, the graphical applications become playful works of art.

Each design element, from merged cells to blocked-out grids, showcases the brand's digital origins while creating a visual hierarchy and interesting layouts.

Kind of amazing how many different brand expressions and layouts can be flipped out of Excel.

Photoshop AI

Last week Photoshop announced the new Generative Fill feature.

This is truly a game-changer. Quickly add, remove, expand, and build your visuals with text prompting. Much like Midjourney, or Dall-E, but right in Photoshop.

Tons of implications here for the future of creative work. What are your thoughts on these types of advancements?

The Skeleton Cowboy

One of my favorite ways to generate new ideas is to combine things. What if we combined the 💀 + 🤠 emojis?

Should this exist? A little bit country, a little bit rock n roll. Yeehaw 🤠 or Yeenah 👎

Alright, I’ll see myself out. Talk soon!
